COVID-19 Update

Today is day one of the Governor’s statewide shelter in place order here in California, so in compliance, we have suspended all non-essential winery functions. Some of us are working from home, some of us are taking care of children and vulnerable family members, some of us are just laying low and doing our best to prevent community spread of the disease. In the cellar and the vineyards, practices have been put in place to maintain vine health and wine quality so that when we are allowed to resume business as usual, we will be able to come back better than ever. As agriculture and production have been defined as “essential” by the state, some of our team members are also continuing to come to work, but only if they are comfortable doing so.
Respecting each person’s individual circumstances and comfort level is our top priority, as we do our best to support everyone on our team both emotionally and financially.

One in three people in Napa County and one in ten people in Sonoma County pay their bills by working in the wine or hospitality industries. By supporting our staff, friends and the essential needs of the winery during these difficult times we will be able to contribute to the rebuilding of our local economy when this crisis has passed.
